This specimen was lot 1672 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 700 CHF (about US$840 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Republik, 1886- 1500 Pesos 1973. 50 Jahrfeier des Goldmuseums der Zentralbank in Bogotá. Polierte Platte. FDC. (republic of Colombia, since 1886, 1500 pesos of 1973, on the fiftieth anniversary of the gold museum in Bogota. Choice Proof.)"
Another 1500 pesos exists for 1973, honoring Guillermo Valencia. The vase on the obverse was recycled for the base metal 200 pesos of 1982-89 (KM 271).
