This specimen was lot 1344 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 21 (Winter Park, FL, May 2017), where it sold for $411.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Popayan, Colombia, 1/4 decimo, 1862, three stars on reverse. Bold XF+ with slightly crude rims (as made), curious as a post-Confederation date but attributed based on its old reverse, very similar to the Dana Roberts specimen (ANACS EF 45, lot 25508), which sold for $1092.50 in 2011. Acquired from Davis Burnett in 1979." The SCWC notes this issue of 1859-62 as a quarter real, not a quarter décimo.
