This specimen was lot 44161 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $115. The catalog description^[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1/2 Real, 1847/6-RS. Bogota Mint. MS-63 (PCGS). 1847/6 overdate. Clashed dies. Good strike with full luster and attractive toning. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck at Bogotá and Popayan 1838-48.
