This specimen was part of lot 44098 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $156. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. A diverse trio of Bogotá Reales, all encapsulated by PCGS. Included are 1836-RS. Restrepo 153.16. EF-40; 1840/39-RS. EF Detail, cleaned; 1847. Restrepo 184.2. C countermark. G Detail, damage. (Total: 3 pieces). From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck at Bogotá 1837-46. This is a better date and exists only as the overdate.
