This type was struck 1825-30 and 1834-36 at Bogotá. This type is common. This specimen was lot 6256 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $176.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Peso, 1834-RS. Bogotá Mint. NGC AU-58. Early Republic of Colombia type. Toned and pleasant with just a bit of wear to highest points. A few light bag marks but predominately untouched and handsome."
