The first specimen was lot 34189 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $474. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Peso, 1827-RR. Bogotá Mint. NGC AU-55." This type was issued at the Bogotá mint 1825-36 but this is the only date for assayer RR.

Specification: 1.69 g, 0.875 fine gold, .047 troy oz AGW.
