This type was struck 1825-30 and 1834-36 at Bogotá. It is common. This specimen was lot 200 in Sedwick sale 9 (Winter Park, FL, April 2011), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bogotá, Colombia, 1 peso, 1825JF, encapsulated NGC AU-58. Lustrous and boldly struck. Bowers & Ruddy 2/77. Dr. Frank Sedwick collection of Colombian Republic gold coins."
