This specimen was lot 24480 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it sold for $881.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Philip IV cob 2 Reales (1652) N(R)-PR, Nuevo Reino mint, VF, Struck from the same pair of dies as the plate coin of Restrepo-M31.2 (showing a clear 1652 date, but twice holed), this piece can safely be attributed to 1652. Since it is eye-appealing and full weight, it should prove attractive for the specialist of this elusive series." This type was issued from Bogotá intermittently 1652-65 and all dates are listed as "Rare" in the SCWC.
