Colombia 1634-NR A 8 reales
This specimen was lot 657 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 27 (Winter Park, FL, May 2020), where it sold for $2,856. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bogota, Colombia, cob 8 reales, 1634A, quadrants of cross transposed, very rare, PCGS VF detail / tooled, Restrepo Plate Coin (stated on label). Full 16 of date followed by bottom half of 34 outside of full but doubled and partially flat cross with very well-detailed lions, some flat spots in otherwise full crown and shield with bold full dot-N-dot-R-dot-A to left and denomination dot-VIII-dot vertically to right, a few dark spots, light old scratches in flat areas. PCGS #39227631. Pedigreed to the Nueva Granada Collection (stated on label), and Plate Coin on page 79 of Restrepo's Coins of Colombia (2012)." This type was struck 1627-51 for Philip IV but only the years 1628-29 and 1633-34 are specifically listed in the SCWC.
