Sincona sale 91, lot 3306

This specimen was lot 3306 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$159 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Graubünden, Chur, Bistum, Joseph Mohr von Zernez, 1627-1635. 10 Kreuzer 1634, Chur. Mitra über dem Wappen. Fast vorzüglich. (bishoric of Chur, Joseph Mohr of Zernez, 1627-35, ten kreuzer of 1634, Chur mint. Obverse: miter over arms. About extremely fine.)"

This type was struck for the bishop 1630-35. Another ten kreuzer, with St. Luke on the obverse (KM 228), was struck 1629-37.
