This specimen was lot 45622 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Silver 50 Yuan (150 Grams), 2017. Panda Series. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo." The Chinese government has, since the mid 1980's, produced a mind boggling array of bullion related collectibles. The gold panda is one of the most popular. The SCWC has not updated its listings of pandas since 2012.
Recorded mintage: 60,000.
Specification: 150 g, 0.999 fine silver, 70 mm diameter.
