This specimen was part of lot 45283 in Stack's Bowers Summer 2026 Global Showcase Auction (Pittsburgh, September 2026), which sold for $268.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Trio of Silver 10 Yuan (3 Pieces), 2017. Panda Series. All NGC MS-70. 1) Early Releases. 2-3) First Day of Issue." In 2016, the silver panda was reduced from 31.1 g to 30 g. We don't know why this was done (the gold pandas were similarly reduced) but the other silver NCLT's remained 31.1 g.
Recorded mintage: 10,000,000.
Specification: 30 g, 0.999 fine silver, 40 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-2318.
