China 1985 10 yuan KM-126

Sincona sale 97, lot 1135

This specimen was lot 1135 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA Volksrepublik. 10 Yuan 1985, Shanghai Mint. UN-Ausgabe zum Jahrzehnt der Frauen. Nur 4'000 Exemplare geprägt. (Peoples Republic of China, ten yuan of 1985, Shanghai mint. United Nations Decade for Women. Only 4,000 specimens struck. NGC PF68 ULTRA CAMEO.)" Other ten yuan for 1985 included KM 114, KM 115, KM 119, KM 127, KM 128. China's deluge of NCLT was just getting started in 1985. Many of the early ones sold poorly and are now scarce.
