This specimen was lot 1730 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHILE: Republic, AR 10 pesos (44.45g), 1968. Arrival of Liberation Fleet in 1820 under command of Lord Cochrane, mintage of 1215 pieces, dazzling Proof, S." This NCLT, one of the last issued before the collapse of the democratic regime, was accompanied by gold fifty, hundred, two hundred and five hundred pesos (KM 184-185-186-187).
