This specimen was lot 76348 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "CEYLON. 50 Cents, 1910. London Mint. Edward VII. PCGS MS-63." Ceylon attained her independence in 1948 after the British left India and is now known as Sri Lanka. This type was struck 1902-03 and 1910 and is common. It matched the Indian half rupee in weight but was only 0.800 fine.
