This specimen was lot 1830 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €320 (about US$414 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"CARMAGNOLA Michele Antonio di Saluzzo, 1504-1528. Cornuto o. J. R Fast vorzüglich. (marquisate of Carmagnola, Michale Anthony of Saluzzo, 1504-28, undated cornuto, choice extremely fine.)"
Carmagnola was an obscure corner of the marquisate of Saluzzo, itself a minor state in northwest Italy. It was later incorporated into Sardinia and is today part of Italy.
