This type commemorated the tenth anniversary of independence from Portugal. It was issued in brass-plated steel, silver (shown here) and gold. It was sold in sets with the ten escudos (KM 24).

Recorded mintage: unknown. Proofs exist in brass-plated steel, silver and gold.

Specification: 4 g, 0.925 fine silver.
