This type was struck in 1985 to promote the Winter Olympics in Calgary. It was accompanied by another one ounce silver coin featuring a ski jumper (KM 145). In all, ten different designs were issued 1985-87. None circulated, even when the bullion value fell below the twenty dollar face value.

Recorded mintage: 354,222.

Specification: 33.63 g, 0.925 fine silver, 1.000 troy oz ASW.
