This specimen was lot 44214 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 50 Cents, 1974. Ottawa Mint. PCGS PROOFLIKE-68 Cameo. A lovely, flashy coin with mirrored fields and frosty cameo devices." Silver was removed entirely from the coinage in 1968, following the USA by four years. This type, the first struck in base metal, was issued 1968-76.
