This specimen was lot 40780 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 25 Cents, 1957. Ottawa Mint. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOFLIKE-68+. The single finest pre-1968 Canadian 25 Cents graded by NGC." This type, featuring the first bust of the queen, was issued in large quantities 1953-64.

Specification: 5.83 g, 0.800 fine silver, 0.150 troy oz ASW, 23.8 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by Mary Gillick and G. E. Kruger-Gray.
