This specimen was lot 73201 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 50 Cents, 1942. Ottawa Mint. George VI. PCGS MS-64. Wide date variety. Delivering a rich and alluring glistening luster, this Half Dollar yields much charm and eye appeal. Ex: Cook Collection. Ex: Belzberg."
