This specimen was lot 5382 in Goldberg sale 72 (Los Angeles, February 2013), where it sold for $1,955. The catalog description[2] noted, "Canada. 50 Cents, 1932. George V. Attractive white lustrous example. Very scarce in top grades. PCGS graded AU-58." This type was struck for George V 1912-36 and this is a key date. In 1920, the silver was lowered from 0.925 fine to 0.800 fine.
