This specimen was lot 20582 in Heritage sale 3008 (New York, January 2010), where it sold for $1,092.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V Cent 1928, MS65 Red ICCS. Near-flawless surfaces with sharply struck features and attractive crimson color. None have been certified finer by ICCS (4/0)." Canada, after issuing large cents 1858-1920, converted to small cents nearly identical to U. S. cents. This design, with the head of George V, was struck 1920-36 and the 1928 is common.

Specification: 3.24 g, bronze, 25.4 mm diameter, plain edge.
