This specimen was lot 23454 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $1,997.50. The catalog description^[1] noted, "George V 25 Cents 1916, MS65 PCGS Belzberg, sharply struck with dazzling icy white mint luster, a choice coin with exceptional eye appeal. From The Nikita Collection." The type was struck in sterling silver 1912-19 and in 0.800 fine silver 1920-36. This date is readily available up thru Extremely Fine but somewhat scarce in choice condition.

Recorded mintage: 1,462,566.

Specification: 5.83 g, 0.925 fine silver, .173 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
