This specimen was lot 31170 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada. Victoria 10 Cents 1900 MS66 PCGS, London mint, Sunny, wintery surfaces and strong cartwheel luster radiantly burst from the surfaces of this handsome coin. A remarkable strike which is an absolute pleasure to behold. From the James Mossman Collection of Canadian Coinage." The type was struck 1858 and 1870-1901 and is fairly common in grades up to Very Fine after which the price ascends rapidly.

Recorded mintage: 1,100,000, a common date.

Specification: 2.32 g, 0.925 fine silver, 17.8 mm diameter.
