This type was struck 1870-1901 at the London and Heaton mints. This date is fairly common, tho all the dates are rare in high grade. This specimen was lot 22328 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 25 Cents, 1900. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-61. A well struck and lustrous example of the type with light toning."
Recorded mintage: 1,320,000, a common date.
Specification: 5.81 g, 0.925 fine silver, .173 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
