This specimen was lot 1837 in Goldberg sale 93 (Los Angeles, September 2016), where it sold for $1,234. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Burundi. 100 Francs, 1962 PCGS Proof 65. On Independence. Mwambutsa IV left. PCGS graded Proof 65." The king was ousted by coup in 1966.

Recorded mintage: 2,500.
