This specimen was lot 74485 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 24 Mariengroschen (2/3 Taler), 1718-HH. Zellerfeld Mint. August Wilhelm. PCGS MS-61. This uncirculated specimen offers bright silver luster with hints of golden toning along the peripheries. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck for August Wilhelm 1714-30.
