This specimen was lot 74465 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 24 Mariengroschen (2/3 Taler), 1694. Zellerfeld Mint. Rudolph August & Anton Ulrich. PCGS AU-55. This specimen offers soft, champagne luster on both the obverse and reverse. Very attractive. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1685-1704. The two brothers ruled together until Rudolph's death in 1704.
