This specimen was lot 5409 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,809 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, Julius, 1568-1589. Reichstaler 1576, Goslar. Lichttaler. Attraktives Exemplar mit feiner Patina, vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Exemplar der Auktion Button 110, Frankfurt/Main 1964, Nr. 1304. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, Julius, 1568-89, thaler of 1576, Goslar mint, "light" thaler. Attractive example with fine patina, extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1570-76. The "light" refers to the candle in the wild man's hand, not the coin's weight.
