Brunswick-Luneburg: Wolfenbuttel. 1/4 Taler, "65" (1565). Goslar Mint. Heinrich "the Younger". PCGS EF-45. Rather enchanting and wholesome, this problem-free minor sports a pleasing tone and great overall detail remaining. Most notably, one's eyes are drawn to the cartoonishly large Order of the Golden Fleece hanging from the neck of the Duke. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was issued 1555-68 and is fairly common for the period. Specimens struck without dates are reported.
