This specimen was lot 626 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €270 (about US$364 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, HERZOGTUM Christian Ludwig, 1648-1665. Reichstaler 1655, Zellerfeld. Dunkle Patina, sehr schön +. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Celle, Christian Louis, 1648-65, thaler of 1649, Zellerfeld mint. Dark patina, very fine or better.)"
This type is noted for 1654-65. Christian Ludwig was duke in Calenberg 1641-48 and in Celle 1648-65. His younger brother Georg Wilhelm was duke in Calenberg 1648-65 and in Celle 1665-1705.
