This specimen was lot 610 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €285 (about US$384 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, HERZOGTUM Christian, Bischof von Minden, 1611-1633. 1/4 Reichstaler 1623, Andreasberg. Ausbeute der Grube St. Andreas. R Henkelspur, sehr schön. (duchies of Brunswick-Luneburg and Brunswick Wolfenbuttel, Christian, bishop of Minden, 1611-33, mining quarter thaler of 1623, for the St. Andrews mine. Scarce, mount mark very fine.)"
This type of 1623-25 is rather unusual for a mining issue, which were nearly always thalers.
