This specimen was lot 71157 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $90. The catalog description^[1] noted, "BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS. 50 Dollars, 1988. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo Gold Shield. Nearly flawless with strong cameo features." This is one of at least a dozen NCLT's issued that year.
