This specimen was lot 157 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 130 CHF (about US$173 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Breslau, Stadt. Kipper-24 Kreuzer 1622, Breslau. Münzmeister Hans Riedel. Sehr schön. (Germany, city of Breslau, kipper 24 kreuzer of 1622, Breslau mint. Very fine.)"
This rare 24 kreuzer was minted 1622 only. The shortsighted overissue of kipper coinage created a brief inflationary bubble in Germany 1619-24. After it burst, the debased coinage was called in and melted, accounting for its rarity today.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver, this specimen 5.47 g.
