This specimen was lot 23282 in Heritage sale 3020 (Long Beach, September 2012), where it sold for $1,292.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Pedro II gold 10000 Reis 1834, XF Details NGC mount removed, scarcer type with large youthful bust, small surface marks but not unattractive."

Recorded mintage: 5,617.

Specification: 14.34 g, 0.917 fine gold, .422 troy oz AGW.
