This specimen was lot 23953 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $4,993.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "João VI Prince Regent gold 6400 Reis 1816-R, AU Details - Surface Hairlines NGC. A bit dull on the obverse from cleaning. Reverse is in line with MS62 grade. Rare and key date of the series. From The RLM Collection, Part II." The type was struck 1805-17 with the portrait of João as Prince Regent (he later became king João VI).
