Brandenburg 1663-HM ducat Fr-2258
This specimen was lot 1024 in Sincona Auction 100 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 25,000 CHF (about US$37,680 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Brandenburg-Preussen, Markgrafschaft, 1417 Kurfürstentum, 1701 Königreich. Friedrich Wilhelm, 1640-1688. Dukat 1663, Königsberg. Münzmeister Hans Müller. +FRID•WILH•D•G•M•B•S•R•I•A•C•&•E•D•PRUS: Geharnischtes Brustbild nach rechts mit umgelegtem Ordensband. Rv. MON:NOVA•AUREA•DUC•PRUSS• Mit Kurhut bedecktes, neunfeldiges Wappen, zu den Seiten die geteilte Jahreszahl 16 - 63, unten die Münzmeistersignatur H. M. Äusserst selten. NGC MS63*.
