This specimen was lot 6493 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,440 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG IN FRANKEN, MARKGRAFSCHAFT, Kasimir und Georg, 1515-1527. Goldgulden 1519, Schwabach. GOLD. Seltener Jahrgang. Sehr schön. (Germany, margraviate of Brandenburg-Franconia, Casimir and George, 1515-27, goldgulden of 1519, Schwabach mint. Rare date, very fine.)"
This type was struck 1515-26 before the Hohenzollern holdings in Franconia were divided into Brandenburg-Ansbach and Brandenburg-Bayreuth.
