Kunker sale 293, lot 293

This specimen was lot 293 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €600 (about US$809 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG IN FRANKEN. Christian Friedrich Karl Alexander, 1757-1791. Konv.-Taler 1783, Bayreuth. Slg. Grüber (Auktion Künker 267) 4793. Vorzüglich. (margraviate of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, Christian Frederick Charles Alexander, 1757-91, convention thaler of 1783, Bayreuth mint, extremely fine.)"

Specification: 28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver.

Catalog reference: Dav-2025; Slg. Wilm. 1111, KM 264.
