This specimen was lot 24768 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it sold for $3,055. The catalog description[1] noted, "Brandenburg-Ansbach. Albrecht III gold Ducat 1652, MS62 PCGS. An outstanding example of this very scarce issue. Despite minor handling, the surfaces a very lustrous and the devices well struck up. The reverse here is particularly choice." This type is listed for 1651-53 and is rare.
