This specimen was lot 1435 in Jean Elsen sale 145 (Brussels, September 2020), where it sold for €130 (about US$185 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRABANT, Duché, Philippe de Saint-Pol, duc (1427-1430), AR gros cromsteert, 1429-1431, Louvain. D/ Lion rampant à g. Sur sa poitrine, l'écu de Brabant-Bourgogne. R/ + MONE-TA NOV-A LOVA-NIENS' Croix pattée longue cantonnée de B-R-A-B'. Très rare Fêlure du flan. Beau à Très Beau. Provient de Spink, Londres, octobre 1995. (duchy of Brabant, silver groat of 1429-31, Louvain mint. Obverse: lion rampant to left, on his breast, the arms of Brabant and Burgundy; reverse: long cross pattée, cantonned with "B-R-A-B". Very rare, planchet crack, Fine - Very Fine.)"
