This specimen was lot 854 in Jean Elsen sale 142 (Brussels, September 2019), where it sold for €500 (about US$649 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRABANT, Duché, Jean IV (1415-1427), AR double gros drielander, 1420-1421, sans nom d'atelier (Bruxelles). Au titre de comte de Hainaut, de Hollande et de Zélande. D/ Dans un polylobe orné de lis, les écus inclinés de Brabant-Bourgogne et de Hainaut. En dessous, un lis. R/ Croix pattée cantonnée de deux fleurs de lis et de deux lions. En légende intérieure: MONETA: DVC: BRABANTIE. Extrêmement rare. Beau à Très Beau. (duchy of Brabant, John IV, 1415-27, silver double groat of 1420-21, Brussels mint but without mintmark. Struck in the name of the count of Hainaut, Holland and Zeeland. Obverse: within an ornate polylobe, the titled arms of Brabant-Burgundy and Hainaut, fleur-de-lys below; reverse: cross pattée cantonned with two fleur-de-lys and two lions and double row legend. Extremely rare, Fine - Very Fine.)"
