The first specimen was lot 911 in Jean Elsen sale 151 (Brussels, June 2022), where it sold for €2,800 (about US$3,498 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRABANT, Duché, Jeanne et Wenceslas (1355-1383), AV franc à cheval, à partir de 1361, Louvain. D/ Chevalier au galop à g., brandissant son épée. R/ Croix feuillue dans un quadrilobe cantonné de quatre trèfles. Rare Légère double frappe. Très Beau à Superbe. Provient de notre vente 110, 10 septembre 2011, 860. (duchy of Brabant, Jeanne and Wenceslas, 1355-83, gold franc of the horse, struck after 1361, Louvain mint. Obverse: a mounted knight charges left, brandishing a sword; reverse: floriate cross in a quadrilobe, cantonned with four trefoils. Rare, slightly double struck, Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"

The second specimen was lot 1108 in Goldberg sale 128 (Los Angeles, June 2022), where it sold for $1,140. The catalog description[2] noted, "Belgium: Brabant. Cavalier d'or, ND. Jeanne and Wenceslas, 1355-1383. Knight on horseback left. Reverse: Floriate cross. Crack across top portion of planchet. Otherwise sharp strike with underlying luster. Our grade Details of About Uncirculated."

Specification: gold, the first specimen is 3,80 g, the second specimen 3.83 g.
