This specimen was lot 1247 in Jean Elsen sale 154 (Brussels, March 2023), where it sold for €80 (about US$104 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRABANT, Duché, Jeanne et Wenceslas (1355-1383), AR gros au lion (compagnon ou lakengeld), 1357-1363, Vilvorde. D/ + MONETA FILFD.' Lion rampant à g. Bordure de onze feuilles d'ache et d'un lion. R/ Croix pattée coupant la légende intérieure. Patine foncée. presque Très Beau. (duchy of Brabant, Jeanne and Wenceslas, 1355-1383, silver groat of the lion, 1357-63, Vilvorde mint. Obverse: lion rampant left, bordered by eleven leaves and a lion; reverse: a cross pattée divides the interior legend. Nice patina, about Very Fine.)"

"Joanna, Duchess of Brabant (24 June 1322 – 1 December 1406), also known as Jeanne, was a ruling Duchess (Duke) of Brabant from 1355 until her death. She was duchess of Brabant until the occupation of the duchy by her brother-in-law Louis II of Flanders. Following her death, the rights to the duchy of Brabant went to her great-nephew Anthony of Burgundy, son of Philip the Bold."
