This specimen was lot 1280 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $333.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOMBAY PRESIDENCY: AE ½ pice, 1791, East India Company issue, proof struck at Matthew Boulton's Soho Mint, Birmingham, NGC graded PF65 BR." This type was also issued in 1794 along with one, 1½ and two pice.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
