This specimen was lot 751 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $960. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOMBAY PRESIDENCY: AE 1/4 pice, [Bombay], ND. balemark // denomination in numerals, anonymous and without mint name, struck only in 1773, VF, RRR. The fractions, both the half and the quarter, are always undated and very rare."
