Bolivia 1887-PTS FE 20 centavos

This specimen was lot 40640 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. 20 Centavos, 1887-PTS FE. Potosi Mint. NGC MS-63." This silver twenty centavos was struck in Potosi 1884-1907. It superseded similar twenty centavos (KM 154.1-.3 and KM 159.1) issued 1870-83. All types are fairly common tho varieties abound. Assayer FE is recorded for 1872-90.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
Specification: 4.6 g, 0.900 fine silver, 22.5 mm diameter.
