This specimen was lot 1583 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 30,000 CHF (about US$39,942 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Ferdinand III. 1637-1657. 2 Dukaten 1641, Prag. Münzmeister Jakob W. Wolker. Sehr selten. NGC MS62. Das durch NGC höchstbewertete Exemplar. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand III, 1637-57, Very rare, Finest certified by NGC.)"
This type of 1641-57 is expensive. The previous type (KM 425) with a bare bust is slightly scarcer. It was formerly listed by Friedberg under Austria.
