This specimen was lot 3449 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €14,000 (about US$18,085 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Erzherzog Ferdinand Karl, 1632-1662. 2 Dukaten 1642. Der Erzherzog reitet r. mit Kommandostab in der Rechten, im Hintergrund die Stadtansicht von Innsbruck//Der heilige Leopold steht fast v. v. mit Fahne und Kirchenmodell, umher 14 Wappen Ferdinand Karls. GOLD. RR Attraktives, fast vorzügliches Exemplar. (Austria, archduke Ferdinand Charles, 1632-62, double ducat of 1642. Obverse: the archduke rides to right holding marshal's baton, Innsbruck city view in background; reverse: St. Leopold standing with banner and church model, fourteen shields around. Rare, attractive, choice extremely fine.)"
